Easter Egg Hunt

We went to Aaron's family's home for Easter weekend. Their church was having an Easter egg hunt that Saturday and the kids had SO much fun!

Thank you to Lori for this pre-Easter dress! (this is a 6-9 month dress, but she is small, and I think the dress was made a little big)

The kids all gathered around to here the brief sermon of Easter and the rules for the egg hunt. The pastor asked if anyone needed a bag to collect eggs in, and Avery stood up with his basket and said "I HAVE A EASTER EGG BASGET!, CAN I HAVE A BAG TOO?" He really is going to be a jokester and an acrobat!
(by the way I didn't spell basket wrong, that is what he said ;)

Avery collected more than the limited 12, so he started giving his eggs away to a sweet little girl that only had a few. Praise God for those little glimpses that our work as parents in teaching our children how to serve is working!

Our children really get down and dirty when it comes to.... well actually anything they do! LOL!

Grandma helping the kids color eggs! Savannah loved to color. We never thought until now to even LET her color.

Our New Play Set

Aaron and Danny figuring out/labeling all the parts first!

Savannah and "baby bear" helping out

I set up the slide on a chair so at least they could have a little taste of the fun to come.
Again Avery was ninja warrior on his own obstacle course.

fixing up the rock wall/stairs

Danny was so kind to come over on a Saturday and help Aaron out with this project!
Thank you also to Rhema for letting us borrow her husband's building expertise!

This is a couple days later, but it had just got done pouring COLD rain. The guys were dedicated and determined to get this done!

This is actually a week later, when the weather warmed up more, Avery loves to swing REALLY high. Seriously it scares me sometimes!

Savannah Belle and her own little swing!

Trip to the Park

We went to this FANTASTIC walking park. The kids had so much fun running and playing on the pit-stop exercise equipment. Avery pretended he was NINJA WARRIOR (it is a Japanese obstacle course show). We watch it as a family almost every night.

Crazy Bath Babies

So we had just gotten them out of the bath, and this is how Savannah's hair dried.
We laughed so hard, she is amazing!

Those dimples are going to drive the girls wild! :)

Dunkin Donuts

A good brewed cup of Dunkin Donuts brought me back to Cape Cod this morning! I had not had Dunkin Donuts coffee in a little while, so the warmth and comfort of a familiar taste lead me to the Route 130 Dunkin Donuts, where... you are not entirely sure how and where you are exactly supposed to pull in. Considering when you make the turn their are coffee feening cars turning right into you. (we did learn of the left turn and flip a right QUICK before someone from Cotuit got in front of you) LOL!!! The chocolate glazed donuts!! YUMMY! Anyway, hope all my Cape Codders got a laugh, and I miss ya'll!

Lounging around the house

Avery and his loved bear, "JanuarNY" I am supposing it was going to be January, but with a 3 year old pronunciation it has become as such. I have tried to correct him, but he defends his JanuarNY!

Seriously one of the best toys EVER! This box of 'CRYSTAL LIGHT' drink mixes keeps her occupied for a good 10 MINUTES!! Ten minutes of an occupied child, is a blessed ten minutes! :)

Again SERIOUSLY enjoying the box with drink mixes in it!

Almost Summer!

It was absolutely gorgeous yesterday! We had our first "beach" trip. Almost here!

BIG tree, little girl!

Avery very excited that he can play in the sand and touch the water

Beautiful in Daddy's arms

Savannah's first "knowledgeable" feel of sand!

JUST A TOE!
