True Moment

The three of us were sitting singing lullaby to our babies and having a "mothering" moment, when Avery breaks from the overly girly play to showing his baby his battleship! We really have an ALL BOY, boy! Very sweet mind you, but his masculinity was in jeopardy with the lullaby baby moment!! What else was he to do!

A lot going on!

All lot has been going on since Easter, unfortunately my last post! We have most recently been to Aaron's brothers wedding, got a new sister! :) , thought about homeschooling A LOT!!, worked in the yard, working on a new house hold schedule, new Bible study, youth group... A LOT, A LOT. These are a few of my FAVORITE pictures from the wedding.

Easter

I love how much Avery and Savannah truly love each other!

We had lunch with our friends Jonathan and Erin after church today, and enjoyed a scrumptious meal! Avery hid eggs for us and WE the adults had to go find them in the backyard. LOL! He was delighted when we found one, and even more overjoyed when he could take you around and show you each spot they were hidden in.

Yesterday we made "stain-glass" crosses for our windows in preparation for our special day of celebrating Jesus rising from the dead. The kids had a lot of fun shaving the color crayons and watching them melt under the iron, unfortunately this morning Daddy's shirt was made a part of the craft and he had to find another outfit to wear for church. (some of the crayon got melted onto his shirt ... oops?! I guess we need a new ironing board cover)

Just Because

So Avery, Savannah and I were sitting down at the kitchen table to eat our left-over pizza; I put ranch on my plate and the children just got pizza... ergo the conversation

"Can I have some dip?" Savannah sweetly said
"Can I have some dip?" Avery mockingly said
"NO, just eat your pizza!"

"Why do you get dip?" Avery insisted
"Just because I have a little ranch."

"But why do you have dip?" Avery persistently questioned
"Just because!"

"Well... can I have some dip just BECAUSE?" Avery chimed back at me.

And that is how it went! I know my motherly right to say 'just because' is coming to an expiration with this one!!

We stumbled upon this newly hung rope swing! It dropped off there in the back about 5 feet.

This was the day I brought her home! I road with my friend Tammy to Jacksonville Saturday morning. Avery would have been in the picture, but due to just waking up from a nap, he is not fully clothed!!
