Well this morning I posted my first post, and now the kids are in bed and I finally get to sit down and write a little about myself. I have recently become a "member" of the 6:30 club, with hopes of becoming a gold star 5:30 club member! I was given a book called "Shopping for Time" that has really given me encouragement to get the day started early with the Lord. I have been convicted of my lack of care toward the Lord, and giving Him the first fruits. SO..... I started THIS morning with brewing some coffee and sitting at the island, since the lazy boy would have been temptingly comfortable! ;) No those of you who know me, KNOW that our family loves to watch movies and stay up REALLY late! I am having to pray and give that want up. I have given thought to my priorities, my devotion, my husband, my kids and friends, and I don't have enough time at night after the kids lay down to do all the devotions, cooking, cleaning, and time for myself that I would like. I would love to encourage anyone who is thinking, being convicted, or just wants more TIME to enjoy the Lord and chores! I am not a rise and shine person, I don't like getting out of bed before everyone else, I would be in bed until 11 and I was before children!! All that to say I am in the conditioning stages of getting up at dark-thirty! :) -Heather
